How to prepare

馬鄧茶是雲南省八大名茶之一，產於山青水秀的鎮沅縣者東鄉馬鄧村。鎮沅縣者東鄉馬鄧村位於哀牢山西坡，海拔1780米，馬鄧先民種茶歷史悠久，史料記載已有800多年。現存栽培型古茶樹約有500多畝，均為喬木型古茶樹，當地農民歷來都在採摘利用馬鄧茶，歷史上馬鄧茶是用馬鄧特有的古茶樹品種的原料加工形成的曬青茶，是鎮沅的歷史名茶，自古以來有著較高的聲譽，馬鄧茶屬喬木型大葉種茶，具有茶水翠綠、色美味香、耐泡、回味爽口，茶鹼不膩茶杯等特點，是當地彝族人民招待客人的上等佳品。

1990年5月14日，泰國公主瑪哈扎剋星·詩琳通殿下在訪問中國期間，在雲南省政府宴會上喝了馬鄧茶之後，稱讚不已，當即表示要帶一些回國飲用，省府高興地送她200斤馬鄧春茶，此事一時被傳為佳話。
